KLONDIKE FEVER  (scene 3)

Narrator:Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Oscar Buck. His brother Owen A. Buck. And Ms. Jewell Star, with her sister, Brenda,the reporter. (They each come out as announced.)

CURTAIN

 Oscar Buck: Welcome to my saloon strangers, whatdya have?

Jewel Starr:Two Mocha Frappacinos please.

Owen A. Buck: Easy for you to say. (Pause while he looks around.)Reckon we aint got that brand.

Jewel Starr: You could do more business if you fixed up this place.

Oscar Buck: That's what I figured when I sent out east for me to git some Opery singers for the joint.

Brenda Starr:That might be a tad fancy.

Owen A. Buck: I 'spect we'll find that out right soon. 

Brenda Starr:I believe I see them arriving as we speak.

( The Pre-K enter up the middle aisle. The Boys dressed as calvary soldiers, escorting very dressed up divas.)

Jewel Starr:Those calvary boys sure are covered with mud and dirt from the trail.

Oscar Buck: You soldier fellers need a bath. Might quick from the smell of it.

PreK (sings) Splish-Splash

Brenda Starr: Do you think they're really opera singers?

Owen A. Buck:How many of you are really opry singers?

 (They all nod yes.) You know any opry song?(They all nod yes.) 

All: O.K. Sing us an opry tune!

PreK Girls:(Extending their hands out.) Maestro.

PreK (sings) Night of Stars
