The Second Grade(Ecstatic Fortune Hunters) is spread across the stage panning for gold. They take turns looking at what’s in their pans, shaking their heads no. Then, one looks up in delight., whispers into the next panner’s ear. They all start sharing the excitement.

Narrator 1: There you have it. Socio-economic forces have driven every sort of person you can imagine to the very end of the earth.

All: Gold.
