Claim, Evidence and Reasoning (CER) is a key framework that middle school science students use to understand scientific reasoning, helping them develop their scientific arguments.
Typically, the assignment is based on typing up their research and analysis of a classroom experiment, and it has a very strict structure.
In the link to the left, I have provided a draft sample of how I would modify this assignment to better integrate the principles of Universal Design for Learning.
