Klaus Gründler


I am Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Kassel. I am also a research professor at the ifo Institute in Munich and CESifo Research Affiliate.

My research focus is on macroeconomics, public economics, applied econometrics & data science.

Before I was a professional musician for 17 years (and keep on touring occasionally). During the winter term 2022/2023, I was visiting professor at the University of Konstanz. 

According to RePEc, I rank among the Top-1% of young economists worldwide and among the Top-10% of all authors.
