Welcome to a cross-generational New Year’s Celebration with four days of fellowship, spirituality and hygge! From 29th of December to 1st of January we can hear lessons from the Bible presented by guest speakers, sing worship songs, cook meals together, play board games and table tennis, take walks in the forest, dance the traditional square dance Les Lanciers and much more. Often we also have a bonfire, teambuilding activities for the youth and a creative corner. There is also a lot of free time and flexibility, and there is a playground for kids on the yard. And not to forget the party on the 31st with a nice dinner, music, Les Lanciers, traditional Danish cake "kransekage", champagne and fireworks!
This year our guest speakers will be Brian and Jessica Kelly. Originally from Florida, they have been serving in the full time ministry for the past five years in the Los Angeles area and recently joined the RevivEE 6.0 team in Croatia. They both grew up in the church and were baptized as teens. They were appointed an Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader in May 2025 and Brian recently completed his Master’s in Religion with a concentration in New Testament from Pepperdine University.
Like the previous years we are blessed with the Hvidekilde camp by Gribskov. Situated in the countryside 30km north of Copenhagen, right up to one of the largest forests in Denmark with a small village and a sawmill close by. The perfect frame to finish off the old year and start a new one together with God and each other!
Usually about a half of the participants are from Denmark, and the other half from different countries in Europe, especially the Nordics.
If you wish to join us for this retreat, eating both spiritual and physical food together, please sign up by “Registration”, we would love to have you! You can also read more about the camp by the different sections of the menu.
As the previous years, you are welcome to pass this invitation to friends and family, who you want to invite along as well! Especially if you've enjoyed it as much as we have :-)
In His love,
Copenhagen Church of Christ
