Hi there !
My name is Kirti Tyagi and I am a PhD candidate at IIT Delhi and Psychology Faculty at OP Jindal Global University. I am working in the field of adolescent's risky decision-making in the Indian context.
Describing my journey, I’ve spent the last 10 years learning about the field of psychology from theory to applications, and the journey is still going on. I enjoy writing about various theoretical and applied topics of the psychology discipline. I am also heading the research team at Health Tick, India. My passion for research in the field of psychology motivates me to extend my experience to others and learn from them.
Some of my research interests include: Positive neuroscience, Positive youth development, Existential Psychology, Psychological Testing, Spiritual Intelligence, leadership development
Top Five Strengths: Spirituality, Love of Learning, Curiosity, Kindness & Appreciation of nature & beauty.
I also served as an Executive Committee Member of the National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA) (2020-2023).

Applicants should be Psychology majors (Undergrads/Masters candidates) . Some research experience is essential. Excellent research and presentation skills, knowledge of statistics, and experience with related software such as SPSS and Microsoft Access will also be considered when reviewing applications. People having a keen interest in the field of psychology can also apply.

Statistical Data Analysis (Regression, SEM, EFA and CFA, multivariate analysis, and others).
Psychological Test Development: Verbal, non-verbal, and performance-based test.
Designing and Coding Psychological Experiments using PsychoPy and PEBL.
Intervention Development for Adolescents and Youth for wellbeing, existential anxiety, risk-taking, decision making, spiritual intelligence, happiness, and self-regulation.
Software: Proficient in Latex, SPSS, R, MS Office, NVIVO, AMOS, PsychoPy, PEBL, Mendeley, etc.
Programming Language: R and Python.
Research Skills: Academic writing, critical literature review, conference presentation, designing, conducting, and facilitating new research projects.
Qualitative Methodologies: Focus group discussion, Grounded theory, Case history, Interviews, Thematic and Content analysis.
Quantitative Methodologies: Single case design, Experimental designs, cross-sectional designs.
Research Mentorships to undergrads and masters’ students.
Reading knowledge of English, Hindi, and Sanskrit
