This video is titled Forest Video Background Creative Commons from the website Gifycat. Despite the title saying "creative commons" I couldn't find any licensing information on the webpage. There was also not a user credited for this particular content. Since creative commons is in the title I have assumed it is alright to use if credited to it's source.o n
This is an animated GIF found online at GIPHY. It took a quick browse to find this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Gif. This website has an entire section on it's licensing. The simplified version is that content can be used on the site for personal and non-commercial reasons. They state that they grant users a non-exclusive, non transferable and revocable license to use content.
This project really revealed how many different types of licensing exists to use digital content. It also was interesting that some sources had clear licensing expectations while other sources did not give specific direction. It was useful to learn how to embed content into this site.
