Terms of Use for kiroEmu

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application kiroEmu (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use the App.
1. Emulator Utility and User Responsibility
Emulator only: kiroEmu is a software utility designed to emulate retro video game consoles. The App does NOT contain, package, or distribute any video game ROMs, game images, copyright-protected assets, or system BIOS files.
User responsibility: You are solely responsible for obtaining the legal rights to any games (ROMs) or system files (BIOS) you load into kiroEmu. We do not condone, support, or facilitate piracy or illegal distribution of copyright material in any form.
2. Intellectual Property
App assets: All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its user interface, custom assets, branding, and original source code, are owned by the developer.
Trademarks: All trademarks, console names, and copyrights referenced within the App or descriptions (such as PlayStation, Game Boy, Sega, etc.) belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by these copyright holders.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Transactions: Certain features of the App may require one-time purchases or active subscriptions. All transactions are handled securely through Google Play Billing.
Policies: Your purchases are subject to Google Play’s standard payment terms, billing cycles, and refund policies. We reserve the right to modify pricing or feature availability at any time.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability: Under no circumstances shall the developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of game data, save states, or device malfunction) arising out of the use or inability to use the App.
5. Termination We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App or any cloud sync services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
6. Changes to these Terms We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.
