Kiril Kolev, PhD

I am the Associate Provost for Engaged Learning at Hendrix College. In this capacity, I work with the following offices at the college: Career Services, Odyssey, Study Away, and The Engaged Citizen

I am also a Professor of Comparative Politics at the department of Politics at Hendrix College. I hold a BA in Economics from Whittier College and a MA and PhD in Comparative Politics from Duke University

I teach courses in Political Economy, Democratization, Elections, Research Methods and Contemporary Global Issues. 

My research focuses on election quality, electoral systems, democratization, and voter participation. My recent publications appear in Electoral Studies, Political Research Quarterly, and East European Politics, among others.
