MY SCIENTIFIC CAREER THROUGH THE LENS OF PARTICIPATION IN DIVERSE PROJECTS

Simultaneously with my lecturing activities, my scientific career also developed. It started with the design of my dissertation as a PhD student at the Department of Industrial Business at the Business Faculty of UNWE, where I found my niche for personal and professional growth, initially striving for the Educational and Scientific Doctoral Degree in Economics and Management with the dissertation topic: 'Human Resource Management in Privatized Industrial Organizations'.

In my professional career I have participated in a series of successfully completed research projects, such as:

1. Organizational Leadership through Proclaimed Culture - University Research Project (2021-2023).

2. "Managing project teams in multicultural environments: shaping multicultural competencies" - University research project (2018-2020).

3. "Development of the industry of Bulgaria after 1989: economic, social and political effects" - University research project (2018-2020).

4. "Study of the proclaimed corporate culture in the virtual space", University research project (2015 - 2018).

5. "Leadership and industrial growth", University research project (2013 - 2015).

6. “Improvement of the evaluation system in the special disciplines of Business Economics and Economics of Industry specialties”, University research project (2012 - 2013).

7. "The impact of the economic crisis on the competitiveness of export-oriented companies", University research project (2010 - 2011).

8. "Anti-crisis management of industrial companies", University research project (2009 - 2010).

I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN NATIONAL PROJECTS…

1. "Project BGO5M2OP001-2.016-0004-C01 "Economic Education in Bulgaria 2030", funded by the Operational Programme "Science and Education for Smart Growth", co-financed by the European Union through the European Structural and Investment Funds by developing syllabuses, lecturing in Master's programmes, participation in trainings and others (2022 - to date).

2. Project BG051PO001-3.1.07-0059 "Updating of the programmes and syllabuses in the Bachelor's degree programme for the professional field of Economics in accordance with the needs of the labour market (2015).

3. Project BG051PO001-3.1.09-0024 "Facing the New Challenges of Time: A Modern System for Career Development of the Teaching Staff of the University of National and World Economy", Ministry of Education and Science, EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND, OP "DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES" (2007-2013). Courses for “Training in the improvement of scientific research activities", "Preparation of proposals for scientific research projects", "A.3. Training for updating of courses according to the requirements of the Credit Accumulation and Transfer System".

I HAVE ALSO TAKEN PART IN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS…

1. ENGAGE.EU, the European University Engaged in Societal Change as a representative from the UNWE in virtual discussion communities, research platforms, organizational events and others (2022 - so far).

2. The project of the joint Master's degree programme (MBA) "European Business and Finance", organized by the UNWE - Sofia, Bulgaria and Nottingham Trent University – United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (2009 - 2018).

3. Project of a dual Master's degree programme in International Business, taught in English language between UNWE - Sofia, Bulgaria and the University of International Studies in Rome (Università Degli Studi Internazionali Di Roma, UNINT) (2019 - to date).

4. Project of a dual Master's degree programme in International Business and Management, taught in English language between UNWE - Sofia, Bulgaria and Shanghai Zhao Tong University (China).
