My ceramic jewellery is individually handmade in my home studio in New Zealand. Each piece is original and created with care, reflecting my love of craftsmanship and connection to place.
I studied at the Otago School of Fine Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics in 1998.
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. After spending ten years travelling and exploring the world, I felt a strong pull to return home to New Zealand and reconnect with the landscape that has always inspired me.
That sense of belonging is at the heart of my work. Living near the coast, I am surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature — kererū calling through the trees, the distant rhythm of the waves at St Clair Beach, and the changing seasons unfolding outside my studio window.
My workspace looks out onto ponga ferns and native bush, where I watch the rain, sunlight, and shifting colours of the landscape throughout the year. These everyday moments quietly influence my designs, finding their way into the forms, textures, and spirit of each piece I create.
