Kira Riskin: Who?

Hi, my name's Kira Riskin. I'm from Marblehead, MA, and a junior at Quinnipiac University. While I've gone through many majors/titles here, I've finally chosen to be a Communications Major with a Psychology Minor. I don't really know what job I'm looking to pursue in Communications, but I know that I like to draw and write, that's enough for me. 

I've been drawing since I was a kid; it drew me in. Inspired by my favorite video games and shows, I was motivated to become a talented artist. I got my first Wacom drawing tablet in 7th grade and the highlight of each week was sitting in my room, drawing for hours. I got an iPad a couple of years after and bought the app Procreate, and lived happily ever after. I now just draw for fun, trying to create interesting, colorful, and engaging art for anyone who wants to see it.

I've been exposed to different types of communication from a young age. My father's side of the family is full of artists, my grandfather was a comic artist for the local newspaper and a painter, my grandmother was a painter, and my father owns his own graphic design business (logo shown below).
