Formal and informal mentorship have played a crucial role in my radiology career. As an active member of the Internship Mentorship Committee, I provide guidance to 5 interns annually, shaping their understanding of radiology and helping them navigate early career challenges. Additionally, I serve as a dedicated mentor in the PANS mentorship program, focusing on medical students interested in surgery.
Informally, I offer daily mentorship to radiology residents, fellows, instructors, and junior colleagues, fostering a supportive learning environment. My mentoring skills are reflected in my educational activities and research publications. Positive feedback from mentees confirms the effectiveness of my approach. Witnessing the growth and success of those I mentor is truly rewarding. I remain dedicated to making a lasting impact on the development of future radiologists.
