January 2, 1981 Karen (Koehnen) to come to P.A. at 11 am but too foggy - came at 4:25 pm - Deb, Paul, Mark had to drive to Seattle

January 3, 1981 Deb, Paul, Mark to leave for New Zealand

January 3, 1981 Debra, Paul , Dale, Mark to leave to New Zealand (Vi's Diary)

January 5, 1981 Karen's first day at Van Horn's

January 8, 1981 Kris gave notice to quit Feb. 28th - (assuming AKI) (Vi's Diary)

January 9, 1981 Karen & I to Seattle arrive 9:10 pm - stayed w K/Gary - Judy came too

January 10, 1981 Kris, Judy, Karen & me to train - M/D (Albert & Elsie) already there - All to breakfast - Kris went to work - we took Judy home & arrived P.A at 3:10 pm

January 17, 1981 Kris & Judy came - Gary flew in - Karen took all to Anniv. dinner

February 3, 1981 Mom (Elsie) called from Woodburn (Oregon)

February 7, 1981 - Deb call 11 pm - Arrived in Seattle from New Zealand

February 8, 1981 Walt & I to visit Les (Johnson) in hospital, Helen & Bob (Shaw) there too. Home at 8 pm - Mom & Dad (Albert/Elsie) at Gary's (Koehnen)

February 9, 1981 Deb, Paul, & Dale came - nice & tan - Mom(Elsie) called from Lodi

February 12, 1981 Kris met them (Albert & Elsie) at SeaTac & M/Dad flew into P.A. (Port Angeles)

February 20, 1981 Les (Johnson) died 10:30 am - Karen left for Seattle via plane to help paint at Kris/Gary's new house

February 23, 1981 Walt, M/Dad (Albert/Elsie) & me to Tacoma for Les' funeral, then to train depot at 4:30 pm - M/Dad left for Minnesota, then to Kris/Gary's house - home at 9 pm

March 6, 1981 Judy & I left Seattle after work - home at 8:05 pm - Gary & Jim took off for Oregon

March 8, 1981 Judy went to see Doug

March 9, 1981 Judy left for Seattle via plane

March 19, 1981 Vic Sundholm passed away - 66 years old

March 20, 1981 Wally's last day at avacado company

March 23, 1981 Walt and I to Everett - left at 9 am - to Vic's funeral at 3 pm & then lunch with Dick & Carol Sundholm - to Kris & Gary's - to church at 7:30 - took Johnny & Vera home and got home at 1:30 am

March 27, 1981 Judy took Kris & Gary to airport & off to London

August 6, 1981 Cheryl had tonsils & bone growth from nose removed - came home from hosp on 9th

August 13, 1981 Went with Wally to see customer thento Palomar Mt. observatory - left for P.A. on 16th

August 19, 1981 Dwight, Linda, Jessica arrived - all had dinner - they stayed at Norris & Jennifers - D,L,J went to Victoria on 20th and left on 21st

August 23, 1981 Walt, me, Karen, Bud to Hurricane Ridge - Bud left for Seattle on 28th

September 6, 1981 Paul called from Prudhoe Bay

September 7, 1981 Sivert Gustovson passed away at noon - Otto Richter had massive heart attach

September 10, 1981 Took down fence in yard - Paul arrived from Prudhoe Bay

September 12, 1981 - Sue called from Mt. Saint Helens - Sue & Ben arrived at 9:30 pm - they left at 8 am on 15th for Seattle, then home

September 14, 1981 Deb arrived Seattle from Anchorage

September 16, 1981 Deb & Judy left Seattle 10:30am to Portland after taking Tony to hospital

September 18, 1981 Walt & I left for Seattle at 5:10 pm

September 19, 1981 Walt & Gary to W.A.C. (Washington Athletic Club) - Kris & I shopping - All to WA State Fair & Bill Costby Show - left at 3:15 pm on 20th to go back to P.A.

October 28, 1981 Deb called - started as motel maid job (in Dallas)

November 5, 1981 Robert Goering (Jennifer's dad) passed away at 2:30pm

November 8, 1981 Carpeting in upstairs west bedroom

November 9, 1981 Judy moved in with Cindy (Flatau) in MN

November 21, 1981 Walt & I to Pt. Townsend for Bob Goehrings memorial funeral & then to Melissa's home - Kris met us there.

November 25, 1981 Kris & Gary came & Deb - a surprise!

November 26, 1981 Thanksgiving dinner at 1 pm with Walt, Karen, Norris/J/J, Kris/Gary, Debra & Floyd - Paul called from Dallas

November 28, 1981 Walt & Gary to Forks - he bought a Ford Truck - Kris, Deb & I luch with N/J & Joel & then Phyllis' baby shower

November 29, 1981 Kris & Deb left in car (Deb to Winslow) - Gary in truck

December 2, 1981 Judy called - having Gram & Gramps (Albert & Elsie) & Rhoda over for lasagne dinner

December 5, 1981 Rita & Duane Bertsch married

December 9, 1981 Deb flew in from Seattle

December 10, 1981 Kris got a perm - Paul & Deb made announcement of wedding plans for August 14th

December 11, 1981 Deb & Paul left at noon for Seattle - Gary Evans will take them from Seattle to Portland

December 12, 1981 Dad (Albert) taken to hospital in Perham (pain on his side) - he had pacemaker put in on 13th
