Crossrail Place Roof Garden and Jubilee Park, Canary Wharf ~ June 2024
Crossrail Place Roof Garden is located above Canary Wharf station on the Elizabeth Line and is positioned across the Greenwich Meridian Line. It is planted according to the two hemispheres, so the east side has Asian plants such as bamboo, and the west side has plants such as ferns from the Americas.
After enjoying the garden, the KURSA group crossed the Adams Plaza Bridge, known as ‘Star Wars Tunnel’ locally because of the designs on the walls, and on to Jubilee Park which is another roof garden above the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station. The main feature of the gardens is the water feature with 23 pools surrounded by trees and lawns.
