QPE Visiting PhDs
Are you a PhD student in the field of Quantitative Political Economy and looking into spending a term abroad? The QPE group at King's College London is happy to host visiting PhD students.
We are unique in offering a research environment that is focused on political economy and where both economists and political scientists hang out. We talk shop around the coffee machine, at lunch at the canteen, and at the pub!
As a visiting student, you'll have access to our group's research activities, like the QPE seminar series, as well as Economics and Comparative Politics and various brownbags and workshops. And you'll get a desk in the open-space office with the other QPE PhD students.
How to apply?
You can visit during the Fall (Late Sep to early Dec) or Winter term (early Jan to end of March), or at any other time. We suggest a 3-month visit, but you can also choose to stay longer or for just a couple of weeks if that fits your plans better.
First, check out our affiliated researchers and get in touch with one of us to arrange your visit informally.
Second, you can check King's official page for the more formal steps to apply.
Done. See you in London!
