We started our PhD program a few years ago. Yet, we have already had brilliant PhD students in QPE of whom we are proud:
Academic placements
Aurelia Ananda received a PhD in political science in 2023. She is now an Teaching Fellow in the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London (Supervisor: Damien Bol).
Elisa Antoine received a PhD in political science in 2023. She is now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Government of the London School of Economics (Supervisor: Adam Chalmers)
Andrew Hunter received a PhD in political science in 2023. He is now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for the Politics of Feeling ar Royal Holloway University London (Supervisor: Damien Bol).
Francesco Pierangeli received a PhD in political economy in 2023. He is now an Assistant Professor in the Business School of the University of Birmingham (Supervisor: Amrita Dhillon)
Nina Weber received a PhD in economics in 2023. She is now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the IFO Institute Centre for Social Market Economy (Supervisor: Shaun Hargreaves Heap).
Michele Scotto di Vettimo received a PhD in political science in 2022. He is now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Politics of the University of Exeter (Supervisor: Christel Koop).
Asli Unan received a PhD in political science in 2022 . She is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of European Studies at the University of Amsterdam (Supervisor: Kostas Matakos).
Stuart Turnbull-Dugarte received a PhD in political science in 2020. He is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations of the University of Southampton (Supervisor: Christel Koop).
Ria Ivandic received a PhD in economics in 2019. She is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations of the University of Oxford. She is also a Researcher at the Centre for Economic Performance of the London School of Economics (Supervisor: Amrita Dhillon).
Non academic placements
Jeevun Sandher is currently finishing a PhD in economics in 2022. He is now Head Economist at New Economics Foundation. He is also the Labour candidate in Loudbourough for next general election (Supervisor: David Hope).
Karen Jeffrey received a PhD in economics in 2021. She is now a Data Analyst in Medical Informatics at the University of Edinburgh (Supervisor: Kostas Matakos).
Negar Habibi received a PhD in economics in 2019. She is now a Data Scientist at HSBC (Supervisor: Amrita Dhillon).
