What rides are open for Winterfest?
Boo Blasters, Character Carousel, Charlie Brown's Wind Up, Dodgem, Flight of Fear, Grand Carousel, Joe Cool's Dodgem School, KI & Miami Valley RR, Linus' Launcher, Mystic Timbers, Peanuts 500, Sally's Sea Plane, Scrambler, Shake Rattle and Roll, Snoopy Vs. Red Barron, Snoopy's Space Buggies, The Great Pumpkin Coaster, Woodstock Gliders and Zephyr.
Why aren't more rides open during Winterfest?
Short answer: Winter Maintenance and weather conditions.
Long answer: Each ride has a minimum operating temperature. During Winterfest, temps can dip well below the minimum temperature needed which would not allow for various rides to operate. In addition, rides take some time to be completely stripped down to the nuts and bolts to then be put back together after inspections. Keeping rides open would delay the maintenance schedule which could bleed over into the regular operating season which would mean not all rides would be open on "opening day."
