Concerto delle Donne

A program dedicated to the talented women composers from France and Italy. Featuring a soprano, a theorbo, recorder and strings, their sonatas and canzone are full of sensibility, but also humor and passion. Works of Francesca Caccini, Barbara Strozzi, Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and others!

From Baroque to Classical

Some rare gems in this program will surprise and enchant, some are beloved masterpieces. The Travels of Gulliver by Telemann, a concerto for oboe, violin and strings by Fasch, harpsichord pièces of Balbastre and Duphly, a sonata for violin and harpsichord by Haydn. A concert of wonderful works which show the gradual evolution from the Baroque style of Vivaldi and Telemann, to the Classical world of Haydn.

Harpsichord Double: A Keyboard Fest
Presented thanks to a gift from Susan and Norman Gilbert.
A program of solo, 4 hands, and 2 harpsichords, with renowned harpsichordists Kenneth Weiss and Maryse Carlin. The two will play original works by Friedman Bach, Gaspard Leroux and transcriptions of J.S.Bach, Boccherini and Saint- Saens.
