About Receptico
Receptico’s mission is to “make cooking simple, inspiring and convenient for everyone”. Each recipe published on Receptico has its own special story. It can be a favorite family dish passed down from generation to generation, an experiment that became a discovery, a little culinary secret, a new idea with your favorite ingredients or even a random combination that struck a chord with your taste buds.
In Receptico, you can not only share your own recipes and photos of your finished dishes, but also add ingredients, create tags and categories to make it easier for others to find your dishes. For example, you can tag a recipe with the tags “spicy”, “vegetarian”, “baking” or “gluten-free” - and it will immediately become available to those who are looking for just that food.
Feel free to share your own culinary stories, create your own recipe collections and inspire others to cook new dishes.
About the Receptico community
The Receptico community is designed to be open, friendly and safe for everyone.
When posting recipes, photos of dishes or comments, remember: this place can be used by anyone, so avoid posting false, offensive, threatening, defamatory, misleading or plagiarized information. Receptico is not responsible for the actions or statements of users.
The administrator reserves the right to restrict access to content that it considers unacceptable, or to temporarily or permanently block accounts of users whose behavior violates the community rules.
At Receptico, we strive to make cooking simple and interesting, so all content here should focus specifically on the topic of cooking. Accordingly, all recipes must be real dishes that other users can cook at home, and all photos and comments must relate to a specific recipe.
Examples of prohibited materials are given in the Terms of Use and the Receptico Community Rules, but this list is not exhaustive - we can respond to any cases of violations, even if they are not explicitly stated in the rules.
About recipes
At Receptico, we value the diversity of recipes and the uniqueness of each culinary story.
A dish can be a warm memory from childhood, the result of numerous experiments in the kitchen, a random inspiration or your own secret discovery. Even if several recipes seem similar, they always differ in details: the method of preparation, tips, ingredients or the final appearance. It is these little things that make cooking special.
Don't be afraid to share your version of even a well-known dish - it will always have your individuality.
If you publish a recipe that is based on someone else's idea or source of inspiration (a book, blog, website, cooking show or another user's recipe), please indicate the source as a sign of respect and gratitude. If you plan to publish a recipe in its full form that already belongs to someone else, be sure to get their permission and follow the conditions for how to indicate authorship. Receptico may contact you to confirm the circumstances of the publication if it seems that the dish was reproduced from another source.
Photos for recipes are not mandatory, but we encourage you to use your own original shots. They will help other users better understand what the dish looks like in its finished form. Avoid photos of other people, AI images, and photos that are not related to cooking, people, or animals. Such materials may be removed.
Remember that your recipe can inspire someone to cook it in their kitchen. Therefore, please describe the cooking process clearly and clearly, indicate the exact quantities of ingredients, and, if possible, add real photos or videos. This will help others easily repeat your dish and get a great result.
About recipe photos
On Receptico, you can add photos to your recipes to show what the finished dish looks like. Photos help other users better understand the result and inspire them to repeat your recipe.
Only add original photos that you took during or after cooking the dish, use high-quality and clear images to convey an appetizing look. You should not upload photos that are not related to cooking, including images of people, animals, illustrations, images from the Internet, or created by artificial intelligence. The main photo of the recipe should show the finished dish so that others know what to expect.
Photos make the recipe more understandable and attractive, and also help the Receptico community get inspiration for their own culinary experiments.
About tags
In Receptico, you can create your own tags to make your recipes more searchable and understandable to other users.
Tags help you:
quickly find the right recipes by characteristics;
group dishes into thematic collections;
make your recipes more visible to the community.
Please create tags that really match your dish and help others understand what exactly you cooked. Avoid tags that are not related to cooking or that mislead users.
Tags are not just labels, but a way to make your culinary story more accessible, understandable and interesting to others.
About ingredients
In Receptico, you can not only use a ready-made list of ingredients, but also create your own. This is convenient when the recipe uses a rare product, a signature sauce or a special mix of spices that are difficult to find in the standard list.
When adding a new ingredient, follow simple rules:
use a clear name so that other users can easily recognize it;
avoid repetitions (for example, do not create “tomato” and “tomato” as separate ingredients if one option already exists);
do not add ingredients that are not related to cooking;
if necessary, add clarifications (for example: “homemade pesto sauce” or “grill spice mix”).
In addition, when creating an ingredient, it is necessary to indicate its nutritional value per 100 grams: calorie content, amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. This helps to accurately calculate the nutritional value of dishes, monitor the diet and makes Receptico a convenient tool not only for cooking, but also for healthy eating.
When creating your own ingredient, be guided by the correct data, prescribe the appropriate, accurate nutritional value.
Thus, creating your own ingredients helps to make your recipe accurate and understandable, and also enriches the Receptico database for other cooks.
About publishing
Receptico allows you to create your own recipes and decide whether to make them private or public for all users. If you choose to publish, your recipe becomes available to other users of the service, who can view it, save it and try to cook it. You can add a description, step-by-step instructions, ingredients, photos of dishes and steps, necessary appliances and tags to your recipe.
Please follow the rules:
Do not publish photos of people or animals if they are not directly related to the recipe.
Do not add comments or materials that are not related to the recipe, do not contain useful information or are offensive, defamatory or inappropriate.
This way, you can share your cooking experience with others or save the recipe for your own use only.
