Lessons for May 4 - 7

Hello. I am having a hard time getting my videos to load. Youtube said it would take 14 hours, but 2 hours later and that hasn't changed. In case you would like to get going now, let me tell you what we are working on. Over the last few weeks, students have been asked a few questions about what they do on the weekend. We will use those answers to help us write our last class book. If you see a blank page in the packet, it's because I didn't get an answer from your child. I feel like I might be missing some, but I've looked all over and had no luck. If you get a blank page, that's okay - just answer the question now.

Monday May 4th

Find your page that says what you like to do on the weekend and draw me a picture of you doing that thing.

Tuesday May 5th

Find your page that has a detail about your activity - everyone has a different activity so everyone has a different detail. Remember, if your page is blank just write a detail up by your name. Illustrate this page as well. Remember to really think about what you are drawing. Our favorite books have pictures that cover the whole page, have lots of details and fun colors.

Wednesday May 6th

Now we will illustrate your reaction. How do you feel when you do this thing? Do you have fun? Does it make you happy, or sad?

Thursday May 7th

Today I want you to fill out the page about your mom. We call this collecting data (or facts or information) about something. Sunday is Mother's Day, so learn a little about what your mom likes.
