Kin by Nettie CIC is committed to creating heritage experiences that are welcoming, respectful and thoughtfully planned.

Safeguarding

We take safeguarding seriously and work to create environments where participants feel safe, respected and able to take part on their own terms.

Appropriate safeguarding procedures are followed for each project, with additional measures where children, young people or adults at risk are involved.

Health & Safety

Each project is planned with its setting, activities and participants in mind.

Risk assessments are completed where appropriate, and practical information about access, terrain, weather or other relevant considerations is shared in advance wherever possible.

Equality, Access & Inclusion

Kin welcomes people with different backgrounds, experiences, bodies and ways of engaging with the world.

We think about access and participation from the beginning — including the physical, social and cultural thresholds that can make heritage feel difficult to enter.

Where possible, we adapt how people can participate rather than expecting everyone to engage in the same way.

Privacy

Kin by Nettie CIC only collects the information needed to manage bookings, enquiries, projects and participation.

Personal information is handled carefully, stored using trusted systems and is not sold to third parties.
