Hello East County! My name is Kim Hales and I am running for Padre Dam Municipal Water District, Division 4. This is the group that controls your water distribution and prices. As an Alpine resident, I know that our water needs are different in the east county. Along with cooking, cleaning and hygiene at our homes and businesses, we need clean, safe and affordable water for our livestock, pets and gardens. And we get hit hard with things like homeowner insurance rates and cancellations, so I want to be sure that our water is managed responsibly and our costs are kept affordable.
