Candidate Statement
Knowledge & Expertise: You have identified expertise you will need outside your primary focus area. Be more specific about what you are doing to acquire or improve in these areas.
I added more specfic detail to include specific courses, skillsets, and self-directed learning (reading/conferences) that will address my areas in need of improvement.
I also added direct correlations to goals and competencies for each artifact section in the three required sections: Scholarship, Learning Design, and Service.
Scholarship
Introduction: Be specific about how your scholarly efforts connect to your research agenda (focus area). Provide an explanation of what competencies related to scholarship you need to reach your identified goal(s). Describe how you have met each competency and/or are working toward addressing each competency needed and how each artifact you have included supports the acquisition of a competency.
I added content to my introduction, including the How It Fits paragraph that describes how the competencies addressed in my evidence demonstrated the needs stated in my professional goals and the belief statements in the introduction of the section.
I added anecdotal comments on many of the artifacts addressing how they relate to the goals and competencies discussed in the introductory section.
I also added direct correlations to goals and competencies for each artifact section in the three required sections: Scholarship, Learning Design, and Service.
Literature Reviews: Two literature reviews were not included in the draft submission. For the final dossier submission, include your two best literature reviews. If they are part of a full paper, either only submit the literature review portion or highlight (call attention to) the portion you want evaluated. Also, if they are part of a collaborative effort, be sure to describe your contributions.
I have not been asked to write a true literature review for a single class in this program. I am writing one literature review on my own using the Perdue OWL website as a guide. I chose to include an annotated bibliography and several individual research study reviews based on methodologies. If there is time, I will write a second literature review to include prior to the due date for the Dossier.
Research Paper: A research manuscript was not included in the draft submission. For final dossier submission, research should be conducted and submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication consideration.

Presentation: A conference presentation was not included in the draft submission. For final dossier submission, include a copy of a recent conference presentation and/or conference program noting your presentation.
Several presentations including an upcoming presentation were added.
Supplementary: Please explain what supplementary artifacts are included and how they show evidence in support of the acquisition of the scholarly competencies you have identified as important. Evidence achieved during the doctoral program of study is preferred; work from up to two years prior to admission is acceptable.

I do have some work older than two years, but only because I also have evidence prior to the two year deadline. The older work is included because I believe it is relevent and demonstrates my competency in the area.
Learning Design
