Kimera is a mixed-media artist from Ridgway, Colorado, working primarily in oil paint, clay, and experimental materials. Her work is driven by a love of patterns, repetition, and rhythm, often reflecting her inner feelings, passion, movement, and a deep desire to bring beauty and joy into a world filled with uncertainty.
She earned her Associate of Fine Arts from Front Range Community College and is currently pursuing her BFA in Art with a concentration in Painting at Colorado State University. In 2025, she completed an artist residency in Kavala, Greece, where she expanded her practice through experimental sculpture and immersive color studies.
Kimera’s work explores identity, transformation, and the emotional textures of everyday life, often blending bright color palettes with sculptural elements. She is currently developing a body of work that combines paper clay, painting, and atmospheric mark-making to create immersive, dreamlike pieces.
