WHAT IS A CINEMAGRAPH?
Cinemagraphs are still photographs that are taken from a video. The projects are worked on in Adobe Photoshop by creating a layer mask and selecting an object in the video to stay still. They can repeat the images in a Gif format.
In-Class Cinemagraph:
Cinemagraphs were the first projects that the class worked on. There were groups that went out to take videos that could work with creating still images with moving objects.
At Home Cinemagraph:
I created this project in Adobe Photoshop using the video and applying a layer mask to choose which objects to keep still and which to stay moving. I wanted both of these projects to move on the page so I formatted them as a gif. Both file sizes were too big because of the colors in the picture and they had to be muted in order to be exported.
