This was the bingo cards that I used for the center I was working in on this day. I made these and had little cards and I would say what was on the card and they would see the pictures and then they would mark off that they had it. Then when they would get a bingo then they would get a piece of candy.
This was another group that worked to gether to make a trap for the little Leprechaun to see if they could catch him or not. All of the kids did a very good job working together to make these traps.
This one of the groups making their traps for the Leprechaun they got to pick what they got to use for their traps. They had to come up with an idea as a team and work together on them.
This was something that we made after we got done reading how to catch a Leprechaun book. I read the book and then I went around the room and asked some of the students what we could use from the story that we was just reading to catch him. So after they would give me the idea I would write it down so that after we made our traps we could go back over them tomorrow to see if they caught him or not with the ideas that they had,
This was some of the sheep lesson that I did this was a question and asnwer that we filled out before we did the lesson to see what they knew before I taught the lesson.
This was an activity that I did after we did the lesson they had to put the parts of the sheep on and then they got to color the sheep after we were done.
This is an activity that we did when it was Earth day I had the students use blue paper and green paper and they had to rip the paper into little pieces and then they had to glue the papers onto the earth. Then they had to color the read heart and they had to glue it on. After they did this I then asked them what we could do to make the earth better. Exapmles: Pick up our trash, use more things from our garden, use less plastic bottles, one of the kids said use your own shopping bags and not the plastic ones that they give you.
This is the book that I read when I did the socail emotional lesson and the little stuffies that I used as well. Each of the kiddos got to pick the stuffy that they wanted to talk about or how they was feeling at the time. Then when I read about the emotion in the book then they had to tell me why they felt that way and a time they remember feeling that way or whay it made them feel that way. I thought at the end it was a great lesson the kids responded well to it and one of the girls even said that she feels loved by her teachers which made me feel so good.
