About Us

The Killona Volunteer Fire Department’s response area covers the Killona community and the St.Charles parish jail, serving the 1st district of St.Charles Parish and includes a Killona community center. We also have a very vast and diverse industrial area that we assist Hahnville with along the Mississippi River, such as: Dow Chemical, Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Plant, and various others. The Killona Volunteer Fire Dept. is very committed and involved in the safety and protection of its community. KVFD currently maintains 3 pumpers, 1 Rescue.
