Welcome to your visit of the webage of Dr. Kliho Eom's.
Dr. Kilho Eom is an associate professor in Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Korea, while leading the Biomechanics Lab. Dr. Eom received B.S. degree from Korea Aerospace University in 2000, and received M.S.E. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Ausitn in 2003 and 2005, respectively. After receiving the Ph.D. degree, Dr. Eom had research career in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) from 2005 to 2008, Korea University from 2008 to 2011, and Yonsei University from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Eom has been a faculty member in SKKU since 2013.
Dr. Kilho Eom is working on the biomechanics at various scales from macroscopic scales to molecular scales. Specifically, Dr. Eom's lab has focused on the analysis of human motion, characterization of muscle proteins (that determine the properties and function of muscles) and other proteins (related to disease pathologies). Dr. Eom has published more than 80 papers in renowned journals including Physics Reports, Angewandte Chemie, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, and so on. Dr. Eom's research papers were cited more than 1,400 times (from Web of Sciece as of August 2020). Dr. Eom's researcherID can be found here.
