As a lifelong subscriber to National Geographic, I've always been an avid follower of photography, whether nature, wildlife, people, urban or adventure.
I love the mountains (acrophile), the cold (chionophile) and skiing.
I've always been fascinated by the idea that there are 7.5 billion stories being lived every day, yet each of us will only ever know a tiny fraction of them. This fascination drives my love of photography, where a simple camera lens allows each of us to observe, interpret and imagine the lives of so many we will never truly know. Brandon Stanton's Humans of New York project showed me that we can, in a very meaningful way, hope to learn the stories of as many individuals, and that hope is the inspiration behind my favourite collection, Humans of My Travels, my little step and my little contribution towards that dream.
