Findsounds: This site has a lot of animal sounds to choose from. Keep in mind that not all sounds truly represent the animal students are researching. If a student want to use a sound, they might need to research how that animal sounds. Some students find a credible Youtube video to confirm the animal sound.

Audacity: This software requires a download. It is free and worth the download so students can edit their audio for perfection. Check out my Youtube video that demonstrates how to record stories in Audacity and get rid of any imperfections.

Audio Recorder: Click on the microphone and start talking. When done, click on the microphone again and download. I had to use Firefox for this site to work.

Voice Recorder: This online voice recorder will allow students to record their stories. You can delete the beginning and end but any imperfections during the recording might be tricky to delete. Check out a Youtube video that demonstrates how to use the online tool.

Voice Spice Recorder: This site can be used to change the voice to a robot, space squirrel, man or woman. They would record their voice and then get the hyperlink to set up on their poster. Here is an example of a recording on Polar Bears using the space squirrel voice.

Vocaroo: This online tool will allow students to record their voices. It is somewhat limiting because you can't edit out anything. I would download the recording as an mp3. Check out a Youtube video that demonstrates how to use the online tool.
