I Don’t Want My Dinner!

It was dinnertime. Zacky was not happy. There were peas on his plate. 

“I DON’T WANT PEAS!” screamed Zacky.

“If you don’t eat peas, you will not grow up,” said Mum.

“Look, Mummy, I have finished my plate!”  said Ben, Zacky’s little brother.

Zacky glared at Ben. 

He later went to bed without dinner.

When he fell asleep, he had a dream. A terrible dream.

His brother Ben was tall, very tall. Whereas he was so small that he could fit in Ben's palm. 

“Why am I so tiny?” Zacky asked, tears in his eyes.

“It’s because you don’t eat peas,” answered his giant brother.

The next day, at lunchtime, Zacky looked at his plate and exclaimed: “Huh? No peas? ...But you know that I love peas!”.
