You can control how fast you’re going through a twist grip throttle accelerator which is very easy to manoeuver. There are no seats on the E200 thus riders have to stand up. However, because of its full sized deck and frame, doing so is actually very comfortable. It has 8 inch pneumatic tires which ensure a smooth ride.

Razor E200 Electric Scooter Pros:

• If you want your kids off the couch, away from the computer, and outside playing, then the Razor E200 Electric Scooter is the answer. My 8 year old daughter has one and she rides it all day long.
• The Razor E200 Electric Scooter is able to reach top speeds of around 12mph. Even at that speed the battery life lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. The other day we went on a 1 hour ride up and down hills and it still had some juice when we walked in the door.
• If you or your child spend most of the day starting and stopping the Razor E200 Electric Scooter, the battery life is so efficient I found that it can last most of the day.
• I wanted my daughter to have a full size deck under her feet as opposed to the smaller models. She feels comfortable, secure, and confident riding the Razor E200 Electric Scooter around town; and even with her small frame (she is 50lbs), she has no problems handling the steering or working the brakes. I also don’t have to worry about a bigger child getting on it and breaking it. It can support up to 220lbs.
• Keep in mind, I always make sure that when riding the Razor E200 Electric Scooter my daughter always wears her safety gear. Helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads – thankfully she hasn’t needed to “use” them and I credit the Razor E200 Electric Scooter for most of her safety success so far. Always remember to take precautions.
• The best part of the Razor E200 Electric Scooter? Watching my daughter have so much fun. She is never in the house anymore. She is either zooming up and down the driveway or giving friends a ride home.

Razor E200 Electric Scooter Cons:

• There is not much clearance between the motor and the ground. This is to be expected for a kid’s scooter, however. Yes, if you ride through pot holes and put more than the recommended weight on the scooter (220lbs) the motor will hit the street hard. I have seen my daughter with another kid, a lot bigger, riding with her and the motor never came close to scraping the pavement.
• Charging takes between 10-18 hours. This can be a long time for your child, especially the first time out of the box. Be sure to charge it overnight so it is ready and waiting the next morning.
• The Razor E200 Electric Scooter manual does not tell you where the tire inflation extender tube is. I had to find it myself. So, I am telling you here: It is attached to a holder inside the rubber grip of the right handle bar.
• The Razor E200 Electric Scooter has no locking system. At first this was a nuisance, but now I just wrap a chain around the frame near the front tire and around a pole, parking meter, or street sign.

Is it worth the money?
