In vivo high spatiotemporal resolution visualization of circulating T lymphocytes in high endothelial venules of lymph nodes

Movie clearly shows para-cellular trans-endothelial migration of T cell (arrow, red) in a high endothelial venule (HEV) of mice lymph node in vivo for the first time to our knowledge. Green is endothelial cells of HEV. Time scale (min:sec).

First figure shows post-capillary HEV (green) and adhered T cells (red). Arrows indicate tracks of flowing cells from capillaries to HEV. Second and third figures are velocity color-maps for RBCs and T cells showing the changing velocity and spatial distribution of them simultaneously. Time resolution of the change of velocity is 30 Hz.
