How to Get to Hotel Koreana from Incheon International Airport

Hotel Koreana is located in central Seoul, between Gwanghwamun and Seoul City Hall. The hotel is easily accessible from Incheon International Airport by airport limousine bus or the Airport Railroad (AREX).

Option 1. Airport Limousine Bus — Recommended

The easiest option, especially if you have luggage.

Take Airport Limousine Bus No. 6701 from Incheon International Airport directly to Hotel Koreana.

From Incheon Airport to Hotel Koreana

1. After arriving at the airport

After collecting your luggage and passing through customs, follow the signs for:

At the airport, bus tickets can be purchased at the airport bus ticket counters or by following the current airport transportation guidance.

2. Take Bus No. 6701

Look for:

6701 — City Hall / Gwanghwamun / Dongdaemun DDP

The 6701 route serves Gwanghwamun (Koreana Hotel). The official Seoul Metropolitan Government transportation information lists Koreana Hotel (02643) as a stop served by Airport Bus 6701.

3. Get off at:

The stop is directly in front of Hotel Koreana.

4. Walk into Hotel Koreana

The hotel entrance is just a few steps from the bus stop

Travel time and service

The hotel currently lists Bus 6701 as the airport-to-hotel connection, with service from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The hotel indicates approximately 25–35-minute intervals for the service, although schedules can change.

Important: Bus schedules and fares may change. Please check the current schedule at Incheon Airport or the official Korea Airport Limousine information before traveling.

Option 2. Airport Railroad (AREX) + Seoul Subway

Recommended if you prefer to travel by train or want to avoid road traffic.

Step 1. Take AREX from Incheon Airport

After arriving at the airport, follow the signs for:

Airport Railroad / AREX

The Airport Railroad station is located in the airport's Transportation Center.

You have two choices:

• AREX Express Train: Non-stop to Seoul Station

• AREX All-Stop Train: Stops at several stations before Seoul Station

The Express train takes approximately 43 minutes from Terminal 1 and 51 minutes from Terminal 2 to Seoul Station.

Step 2. At Seoul Station, transfer to Subway Line 1

At Seoul Station, follow the signs for Subway Line 1.

Take Line 1 toward City Hall Station.

Get off at:

City Hall Station (시청역)

Then use Exit 3.

Step 3. Walk to Hotel Koreana

From City Hall Station Exit 3, walk toward Gwanghwamun.

Hotel Koreana is approximately a short walk from the station.

The hotel itself also lists City Hall Station Exit 3 as one of the recommended subway routes from Incheon Airport.

Our recommendation

For first-time visitors and travelers with luggage, we recommend Airport Limousine Bus 6701. It takes you directly from Incheon Airport to the bus stop in front of Hotel Koreana, so there is no need to transfer between trains or carry luggage through a large subway station.

If you prefer rail travel or want to avoid traffic, take AREX to Seoul Station and transfer to Subway Line 1 to City Hall Station.
