1. From Hotel Koreana to KIAS

Hotel Koreana: 135 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul

Option A: By subway and taxi

1. Walk to Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) or City Hall Station (Lines 1 and 2).

2. Take the subway to a convenient station for a taxi transfer, such as Cheongnyangni Station.

3. Take a taxi to KIAS at 85 Hoegi-ro, Dongdaemun-gu.

Allow approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the route and traffic.

Option B: By taxi (recommended)

Take a taxi directly from Hotel Koreana to KIAS. Show the driver the destination address below.

Allow approximately 30–50 minutes, depending on traffic.

2. From KIAS to Hotel Koreana

Option A: By taxi (recommended)

Take a taxi from the KIAS campus to Hotel Koreana. The journey usually takes approximately 30–50 minutes, depending on traffic.

Option B: By public transportation

1. Take a taxi or local bus from KIAS to Cheongnyangni Station.

2. Take Subway Line 1 toward central Seoul and transfer to Line 5 at Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station.

3. Get off at Gwanghwamun Station and walk to Hotel Koreana.

Alternatively, use a route planner to find the best bus or subway connection at your departure time.

3. From Seoul Station to KIAS

Seoul Station is a major transportation hub with connections to the airport railway, subway, and intercity trains.

Option A: By subway and taxi

1. At Seoul Station, take Subway Line 1 toward Cheongnyangni.

2. Get off at Cheongnyangni Station.

3. Take a taxi to KIAS at 85 Hoegi-ro, Dongdaemun-gu.

Allow approximately 35–50 minutes in total.

Option B: By taxi

Take a taxi directly from Seoul Station to KIAS.

4. From Incheon International Airport to KIAS

Incheon International Airport (ICN) is the main international gateway to Seoul. There are two convenient ways to reach KIAS.

KIAS(Korea Institute For Advanced Study)

Option A: Airport limousine bus (6002) and taxi

1. After arriving at the airport, follow the signs for airport limousine buses.

2. Take Airport Limousine Bus No. 6002 toward Cheongnyangni.

3. Get off at Cheongnyangni Station.

4. Take a taxi to KIAS.

Allow approximately 1.5–2 hours or more, depending on traffic and waiting time.

Option B: Airport Railroad (AREX), subway, and taxi

1. Take the Airport Railroad (AREX) from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station.

2. Transfer to Subway Line 1 toward Cheongnyangni.

3. Get off at Cheongnyangni Station and take a taxi to KIAS.

Allow approximately 1.5–2 hours, including transfers and the taxi ride.
