Etienne van Middendorp
I am Etienne van Middendorp, a 22 year old third year mechanical engineering student at University of Twente, Netherlands. I grew up in a small village in the Netherlands and always had a great interest in technology. Next to my studies, I enjoy walking with my dog or cruising in my car. During my minor, Energy transition perspectives, my interest in renewable energy/thermal engineering rose. In collaboration with Alex Emmanoulidis, we are working on the system design of a thermochemical energy storage system for heat and power applications under the supervision of Khushwant Singh Chauhan.
Alex Emmanouilidis
My name is Alex Emmanouilidis, and I am a 22 year old third year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Twente and Vrije University, Netherlands. I am born and raised in Athens, Greece, where I developed a strong interest in engineering and technology. Throughout my studies, I have become particularly interested in renewable energy, as I find it both challenging and meaningful to work on solutions to today's pressing energy related issues.
Together with my colleague Etienne van Middendorp, we are working on the system level design of a thermochemical energy storage system for heat and power applications under the supervision of Khushwant Singh Chauhan.
