Class of 2020, we are so proud of you!

Due to the circumstances of Covid-19, Kearny High School, along with much of the country, had to close its doors during what should have been a time full of celebration for our dedicated seniors. While we cannot physically be together and celebrate in the traditional sense at this time, the entire Kearny Staff would like our Class of 2020 to know that we support you and we are still celebrating you in any way possible.

Message from Principal Diaz-Booz

Kearny High Class of 2020,

Although this school year is coming to a very unusual end, we want to affirm that nothing can diminish your many accomplishments. We applaud your hard work, your perseverance, and the innovative spirit with which you’ve approached your time in high school. I cannot express how grateful I am to have served as your principal during your years at Kearny. I am proud of how you showed leadership in respecting one another, working hard, and pursuing success at the highest level. While we all wish this school year could have ended with the traditional celebrations, we want you to know how fortunate we feel to have been part of your team and your journey, and we know that you will overcome any obstacles that you face now and in the future.
