These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Kharchify: Expense Tracker app (the "App") for mobile devices, created by MD Developer Studio ("we", "us" or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1.1 The App is a personal tool for recording and reviewing your own expenses, income and budgets.
1.2 You may use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
1.3 You must not copy or modify the App, any part of it, or our trademarks. You must not try to extract the App's source code, translate it into other languages, or make derivative versions. All trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the App belong to MD Developer Studio.
The App only records and summarises the numbers you enter. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Charts, totals and budgets are for your information only. Always check important figures yourself and talk to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
3.1 Records you enter are stored only on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your device's security and for keeping a backup (you can use Settings → Back up data). You are responsible for keeping backup files safe.
3.2 We are not responsible for data loss caused by uninstalling the App, clearing app data, device failure, loss or theft, or by using Delete all data.
The free version of the App is supported by ads provided by Google AdMob. Pro users see no ads. Ads are supplied by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of ads or of any website or app an ad links to. Your dealings with advertisers are between you and the advertiser.
5.1 The App offers an optional upgrade, Kharchify Pro, sold as a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. It is not a subscription: you pay once and are never charged again for it.
5.2 The price is shown in the App and on the Google Play payment screen in your local currency before you pay (for example ₹649 in India). Prices may include taxes, may differ between countries, and may change in the future. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.
5.3 Pro currently includes: no ads, CSV export, premium color themes and yearly charts. We may add features to Pro. We will not remove the core Pro benefits you paid for while the App is offered on Google Play.
5.4 Pro is linked to the Google account used for the purchase. It can be restored on a new or reset device signed in to the same Google account, with Restore purchase in the App.
5.5 Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Google Play and follow Google Play's refund policy (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). If a purchase is refunded or reversed, Pro features are removed.
5.6 All features of the free version, including backup and restore, remain free.

Some features (ads, update checks, crash reporting) need an internet connection. Your mobile network may charge for data. You are responsible for those charges. The core features work offline. We are not responsible if the App doesn't work fully because you have no internet or your device battery runs out.
We may update the App at any time to improve it, fix bugs or meet the requirements of Google Play or the law. The App may ask you to install an update. We may also stop offering the App at any time without notice.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MD Developer Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or savings, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App (the price of Pro if you bought it, otherwise zero).
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept them.
