About Me

My name is Khairat Nazzal. I am originally from Palestine, but have been living in sunny San Diego for over than 22 years. I received my teaching degree from Kuwait and have been a teacher for 34 years. I have been teaching at this school for about 22 years, since I have moved here AlhamduLillah. I am happily married with 5 loving and beautiful children, who have also previously attended this school as well.

Teaching is one of my favorite things to do. But when I have free time, I love to spend quality time with my family. The best part of my day is when we all gather around the dinner table, laughing and sharing stories.

In addition, I also value my lifelong friendships. I enjoy catching up with my friends over coffee or dessert. I really enjoy drinking Turkish coffee, or as I like to call it, Arab coffee. I also absolutely love boba, my favorite is the piña colada smoothie with boba.

If I was stuck on an island and was allowed to bring one food with me, it would definitely be cheese. I cannot imagine my life without cheese.
