Hello beautiful people!
Now were getting into the cooler autumn and heading towards the winter solstice we can feel that urge to get cosy! It can feel tricky to adjust to the changing season so some self-care and integration of the body/mind/heart complex is essential! I have lots of options for classes, workshops, retreats, trainings and holidays coming up over the next few months so we can head into the colder, darker months with some internal lights shining and inner fires blazing!
I’d absolutely love to see you soon (especially if I haven't seen you for a while - know that you are missed!) so please do have a skim through my offerings and maybe just pop into a drop-in class soon.
Warm hugs,
Khadine xx
Lunawave Studio, Brighton, Sunday 9th November

This workshop will dive into an exploration of the "yogic body" of channels (nāḍī), energy centres (cakra), winds, (vāyu), knots (granthi) and the illusive Kuṇḍalinī energy. We will look to engage and connect with these more subtle elements of human experience through familiar yogic techniques and tantric methods that include āsana (yoga posture), prāṇāyāma (breathing technique), dhāraṇā (focus), dhyāna (meditation), mudrā (gesture and state) and mantra (chanting), and perhaps a wee bit of yoganidrā to top it all off with a wonderful deep rest (because why wouldn't we?!). There will be movement and stillness, visualisation and imagination and an openness to allow total integration. As always these aspects of experience will be engaged for liberative means so we can move our whole being towards freedom.
This practice is suitable for all-levels of experience but may be of more interest to longer term practitioners, teachers of yoga or the philosophy-curious who want to explore beyond asana into the experiential philosophy and energy teachings of ancient yoga texts.
Holidays and retreats
9th-11th Jan 2026
(just 1 space left!)
and
5th - 7th June 2026 (not clashing with Love Supreme - hurrah!)
I am taking bookings for both my winter Florence House weekend retreat in Seaford on the 9th-11th January 2026 and my summer retreat there too.
I have been leading retreats here since 2012 and it really is a home from home for me!
Please get in touch if you’d like to join us at this wonderful nurturing venue set next to the gorgeous Seaford Head and Seaford beach. It's a full immersion into rest, delicious food and good company!
Payment plans are available if required. I hope you can join me for the best start to a new year!
8th-21st March 2026
Only a couple of spaces left!
I am beyond excited to return to India next year. Kerala is stunningly beautiful and this holiday is set just off the beach overlooking the Indian ocean. Kerala is famous for its backwaters where you can take boat trips through the unique tropical waters - its lush!
Jim Tarran and I will lead you on this 13 day yoga holiday which will include two yoga classes a day, one in the morning and one in the early evening. It includes accommodation, food and 10 days of yoga tuition with some free days in the middle to explore further afield - It's going to be wonderful and is almost fully booked already so book soon to avoid missing out!
26th Sept - 3rd Oct 2026
Another of my absolute favourite places in the world! Tigmi is really special, set in a Berber village with the Atlas mountains as the backdrop. In fact the picture above is the view looking out from the yoga terrace. If you looked the other way you'd see the Atlas mountains!
It's only 30 minutes in a car to Marrakech so you can completely retreat or you can nip into Marrakech and enjoy the bustle of the souk! There are also Atlas mountain trips available and an on-site hammam! There is a reason we return here again and again!
This is also co-led with Jim Tarran and includes accommodation and all meals and yoga tuition.
Trainings and courses
Yoganidrā Teacher Training 50 hour YAP accredited
Next intake is in January 2026 - stick on an eye mask for those winter months and consciously yoganidrā (yoga sleep) your way to spring!
This will be my 4th group that I take through this training and I think it's just getting better and better. It is resulting in some great yoganidrā teachers, including previously experienced teachers who have found a new level of confidence with this practice. We dive deep into the subject from all angles and the course will give you confidence to develop your own yoganidrā style. The course runs between Jan-March 2026 so it's a really lovely time to have something that is deeply nourishing for you and you get to learn to share this wonderful practice. Honestly it's the best homework (yes you do have to do personal yoganidrā practice - what a hardship!). This is a very rounded complete training, so not only will you learn the techniques that other training courses offer, but you will learn about the rich history of sleep-based practices in South Asian yoga and meditation traditions and modern neuroscience in order to put this practice into the context of yoga philosophy and traditional and modern yogic aims. This course is suitable for yoga and conscious body-work teachers and people working in one to one therapeutic disciplines who might want to offer therapeutic one-to-one guided yoganidrā.
1 year Daśa Mahāvidyā (10 wisdom goddess) meditation immersion
We start again in January!
This immersion is for anyone wanting to dive into a year of regular meditation practices through the tantric and haṭhayoga traditions. The wisdom goddesses are our support for this so the structure of the course involves a 2-hour live meet (in-person or on-line as you choose) for each goddess (10 goddesses) where I take you through various aspects including iconography, symbolism, characteristics, mantras and meditations. These sessions are then supported by practices that I send to you (a minimum or two per week) for you to do in your own time that range from meditations, reflection practices, yoganidrā, chanting or life integration practices. We also have two 30-minute live dial-in meditations with each goddess over the month or so we are working with them. You will receive over 100 practices throughout the year! You can find more info and the meet up dates below.
Vajrasati Teacher Training 500+ hour YAP accredited
Our next intake isn't until next September but it's always worth putting the feelers out... maybe its something you've thought about for a while or maybe you've just been struck by the idea to do a teacher training. It's never too early to talk to me or Jim about the training so please do get in touch if next September sounds like your time. I hope it is!
Did you know that following a deposit the course is only £120 per month so it’s probably more affordable than you think! You don’t even need to want to be a yoga teacher. Many people undertake the course who simply want to deepen their yoga practice and understanding. Others of course do want to be a yoga teacher, so whatever your reason we will help you realise your hopes. The course is structured around school term times so it is very conducive to family life if you have childcare commitments.
This is a really fully integrated teaching training course that includes a full comprehensive understanding of yoga āsana (posture) with the tools you need to teach, anatomy, philosophy, Sanskrit, prāṇāyāma, meditation and mantra. But best of all, what Vajrasati excels in is community. The school is founded on a philosophy of shared learning and respect so joining this teacher training means you are joining a supportive community of heart-centered teachers, with support for the whole of your yoga journey even after the course is complete. Your training is delivered Jim Tarran (the founder of Vajrasati yoga) and me, who between us have over 5 decades of teaching experience. We are also supported by 2 very experienced graduates of the school so you will be in good hands!
