I got interested in the field of Psychology after doing an UnderGrad project on Speech Processing. Seeing a machine 'think' and make decisions like a human gave me immense reverence for Psychology. I am sure that understanding Psychology will help me make better Artificial Intelligence (AI) models.
I took Psychology as my optional for the Indian Civil Services Exam and did complete Year-I of a Masters degree in Psychology.
I now plan on utilising my basic understanding of Psychology in the field of AI and Machine Learning and make models which try to blur the machine-human gap. This will be a major motivating force in my Masters degree at Texas A&M.
The Indian Civil Services Examination required an in-depth study of psychology. The exams requires the basics (Paper 1) and the application of the basics in various fields (Paper 2).
The syllabus for the Exam can be found here.
I cleared the Main Exam twice consecutively in the Examinations of 2013 and 2014.
The marksheet for the Psychology 2014 attempt can be found here.
I decided to pursue a Masters degree in Psychology (Open Learning) after my two Civil Services attempt to further my understanding of the field.
Till Fall of 2017, I could only complete the First Year of my degree. Currently the degree is on hold. I will be completing it once I finish my Masters here at Texas A&M.
The transcripts and marks can be requested here.

I started doing a Psychology project under my degree with a fellow student titled "Career Preference: Comparative study on individuals of Exploration and Establishment stage ".
This is a research project on how career preference varies on the basis of gender and time span. We aim to test around 300 students using the Career Preference Test, carrying out an unpaired T-test.
The project is ongoing and hopefully will be finished sometime in the future!
(Since it is an incomplete project, I cannot put in public domain yet. However, I can send the project report (unfinished) if someone would like to read it.)
Kindly email me to send you the progress of the project/ project report.
