Business Visa
A business visa is required for travelers mot eligible for visa-free entry(K-ETA) engaging in official business activities in Korea, such as meetings, exhibitions, or negotiations.
As KGSF is a commercial-purpose event, you should apply for a C-3-4 (Short-Term Business) visa. It must be obtained from the Korean embassy or consulate prior to travel.
1. Purpose & Eligibility
Required for travelers not eligible for visa-free entry(K-ETA).
Covers official business activities such as meetings, trade fairs, and contract negotiations.
2. Application / Entry Process
Apply through the Korean embassy/consulate in your country.
Requirements, processing times, and fees vary, and even within the same country, the required may differ depending on the embassy/consulate jurisdiction. Please make sure to check the notice of the embassy/consulate that has jurisdiction over your place of residence before applying.
3. Validity & Stay Conditions
Depend on visa type and issuance by the embassy/consulate.
4. Additional Notes
Invitation documents, including the Invitation Letter, Guarantee Letter, and other required materials, will be provided by KITA only to buyers whose participation has been officially confirmed.
All visa-related costs are the responsibility of the applicant; no reimbursement will be provided.
K-ETA
The Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is required for nationals from visa-waiver or visa-free countries visiting Korea for short-term stays, including business and tourism. It must be obtained online prior to travel.
Certain nationalities are temporarily exempt from K-ETA until Dec 31, 2025 to promote tourism and business exchange.
1. Purpose & Eligibility
K-ETA: Applies to nationals from visa-waiver/visa-free countries for short-term visits (up to 90 days) for business meetings, trade fairs, tourism, or visiting acquaintances.

Those who are subject to the exemption will get a pop-up message when they scan a photo of their passport information page during the application

3. Application / Entry Process
Apply online via www.k-eta.go.kr at least 72 hours before departure.
4. Validity & Stay Conditions
K-ETA: Valid for 2 years (or until passport expiry) and allows multiple entries. Each stay may not exceed 90 days.
Temporary exemption: Valid only within the announced period; maximum stay duration is the same as visa-free entry rules.
