Classes and Exams

Classes for Technician, General and Amateur Extra are conducted on an as-needed schedule. Classes will be conducted using YouTube videos with instructors available to answer questions.

ARRL test sessions are regularly scheduled the third Saturday of each month at 9:30am at:

When there are enough candidates to warrant, we will schedule a local exam session at:

Becoming an accredited Volunteer Examiner (VE)
The FCC has designated various Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (VECs) for administering amateur radio exams. Popular VECs for the area are the ARRL VEC, W5YI VEC, and Laurel VEC.
