One day, while traveling through the woods, he was attacked by Skull Kid, who took the Majora’s Mask, kickstarting the attempted destruction of Termina, and so the Happy Mask Salesman urges Link to save the doomed land. Despite his mostly friendly behavior, his knowledge of occult wares and Link’s travels implies he knows much more than what he lets on…
