Bec Noir is a criminal who's heart is darker than black, once an agent of Derse, he fought back against the Queen and gained the queen's ring, granting him power unlike anything carpacian, human, or troll had ever experienced.  Good thing he's not allowed to lash out here, who knows what sort of atrocities he'd commit!
