Keylin Cheng Torres

I'm currently sixteen years old and a sophomore in High School. Over the short years I've lived so far, I've discovered some things about myself. I discovered that I enjoy all genres of music, but not every song in that genre. I realized I'm someone who works well under pressure as long as I dedicate myself. I discovered that I am someone who loves to sleep, but waking up early and getting stuff done makes me feel good about myself.

I'm currently a sophomore in High School. I attend Collins Hill High School and am part of a program called RISE. RISE stands for Re-Imagining Innovation through Science and Engineering. I've been in this program since the start of High School and it has truly changed me. The program has helped me be more efficient and thorough whenever I work on anything. It's changed the way I look at projects and schoolwork. Instead of dreading of all the homework and tests, I get so excited because I know they will be assignments that I enjoy and know how to do. I genuinely feel prepared for the future with this program. I love the way I can always input some creativity in any assignment we work on, it really helps me develop that artistic skill. The RISE program has made my High School experience such an enjoyable journey and I can't wait for the future.
