B2 初級二級課程

The second level of the beginner courses focuses on fluency building now that the foundation has been built. We continue our grammar lessons but with a focus on sentence structure, past and future tenses and complex sentences with conjunctions and prepositions. 

There is a strong focus on reading comprehension studying children's novels such as the "magic tree house" series and asking complicated questions about the plot and reasons behind why characters are doing what they are doing. 

We introduce media classes pushing children's listening and understanding skills by asking them to answer questions based on what they just saw and heard in the media. This class pushes students to speak their own thoughts not just memorize and repeat lessons. B2 is generally considered more fun than B1 as students have better fluency we can do more activities whereas B1 was focused mostly on learning the foundation of the language.

Students coming to this class need a strong English language background or have completed the previous B1 course. Students that study elsewhere such as language immersion schools can sometimes start at this level however they often still need much review of the foundation taught in B1 and usually require some catching up with extra homework and study, after that though they can adjust well if they are studious and study well.
