Not the Kwikset Kevo, that's for sure. With the Kevo (licensed out from UniKey), you'll be able to unlock your deadbolt just by tapping on it, thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 capable of detecting the smartphone in your pocket. Don't have a smartphone? Don't worry about it -- the Kevo comes with a handy keychain fob that'll let you tap your way inside, too. You can even use the free Kevo app to send friends and loved ones "eKeys" to let them in when you're not around. And for purists, rest assured that the Kevo still functions like a standard mechanical lock, with keys and everything.

I spoke with some of the folks at Kwikset about this, and they acknowledged that calibrating can take multiple attempts to get right. They're aware that it probably isn't as easy as it should be, and to their credit, they've done about as good a job as they can of managing the issue. The Kevo's manual is very clear about the importance of calibrating, and it walks you through the process with illustrated step-by-step instructions, warning you outright that you might need to try repositioning the phone a few times in order to see green. If, after multiple attempts, you can't get it to work, there's also a number you can call for help. Additionally, all of these step-by-step instructions are located conveniently within the Kevo app.

Kwikset also knows how to make locks that are easy to install, and the Kevo is no exception. You don't need to be Bob Vila to get this thing into your door -- all you'll need is a screwdriver and about 15 minutes, tops. The Kevo is designed to easily adjust to doors of different thicknesses, so if you aren't sure how thick your door is, you'll want to grab some measuring tape, too.

I did have an issue registering my phone as an Ekey. After several resets, which I had to look up on the website, the registering process went smoothly. You can opt to remove a security screw on the front plate so that you will have easy access to the rest button which is handy. Registering other users was quite simple as well with little to no difference between Apple and Android phones.

The Kwikset Kevo mostly relies on your smartphone for locking and unlocking, but what if your phone died or you just forgot to bring it with you when you left the house? You're not completely out of luck, and with a couple of preventive measures, you can rest easy knowing that you can still unlock your door even if your phone is unable to help.

The idea behind SmartCode is to provide a touchpad that homeowners can program themselves. This allows keyless access and the ability to lock your door with the push of a button. Some of the other perks include the SmartKey technology and an innocuous status light telling you whether the door is locked or not. Installing the lock was an easy process unless you fall into the same problem we had. Read on to learn what not to do.

Once we are here go east into the next room where we'll find a little puzzle to open the door. There's actually 2 ways of doing this. The first one you can learn by checking the little note on the northern side of the room (hold ALT to highlight it). It says something about water and lightning. Yep, it's that easy: if you have a bottle of water throw it on the ground then use lightning on it to electrify the floor, shortcircuit the puzzle and open the door. Very nice!

This is a relatively easy fight, although it can be annoying. We'll be fighting several Bhaal minion enemies. These guys like to attack 2-3 times per turn with their daggers. This in and of itself is dangerous already, but what they can also do is go invisible. They'll actually go invisible almost all the time so having spells to see those that are invisible are great. If you don't have them, saving your game and using AOE spells to see where they are is also a good thing. Still you won't be able to physically attack them but knowing where they are will let you use spells on them.

What you want to do here is to jump on top of the large black pipe then head west following on top of it. This will bring you to a fight against 3 NPCs. They are super easy. However, the one called "Kevo Phogge" should be your top priority. This guy can summon up to 7 crows, really annoying and a lot of incoming damage. Make sure to kill him ASAP. Other than that, the other 2 are a pushover.

This is somewhat of an easy fight but the very start can be annoying. Let me start out by saying that we'll be fighting both Minsc and the fake Jaheira here. The former is a berserker (similar to Karlach) while the fake Jaheira is like those enemies we fought in the bank. Besides them, we'll have their leader "Roah Moonglow". She's a bard that will buff the other enemies, but she'll make a run for it and leave the battle so you can ignore her.

Go ahead and make your way back to the guild and as you enter you'll trigger a scene here with Roah Moonglow, the same one that ran away in the previous fight. She'll tell us that we'll either help her kill Nine-Fingers and the rest of the guild, or we're going against her. Well, we're of course helping Nine-Fingers.

The fight itself is actually extremely easy and you won't be doing much. All of the Roah's allies will be down in the pit while they're surrounded by Nine-Fingers and the guild. They'll deal with them even before you have time to get down to them. You do have Roah directly in front of you you can kill. She'll try to run away again but it's your whole party against her so it's easy.

This extremely demanding trail traverses the large strict nature reserve across varying terrain. Kevo Strict Nature Reserve is one of Northern Finland's largest protected areas. In summertime hiking in the area is strictly restricted to marked trails. During winter skiing is allowed in the nature reserve, but there are no maintained ski trails. Locals who practice reindeer husbandry and other natural livelihoods have far broader rights and privileges within Kevo Strict Nature Reserve than hikers do.

Suttesja or Sulaoja is the trail's southern starting point. When setting off the trail first leads through fell birch forest over hilly terrain and then descends to the camping site by the River Luopmojohka. On this section of the trail the ground is easy to walk.

When continuing on from the River Luopmojohka the trail follows a ridge, which runs between the Luomusjrvi Lakes, to Ruktajrvi open wilderness hut. While leading along the ridge the terrain of the trail is hilly so there are small ascents and descents along the entire way. Before reaching Ruktajrvi open wilderness hut the trail descends to a narrow, flat isthmus which separates two lakes. There are rocks at some parts of the trail, but this section is still relatively easy to travel. Close to the wilderness hut there is a lean-to shelter for day-trip use.

After Ruktajrvi open wilderness hut the trail continues on through fell birch forest all the way to the next camping site. This section of the trail is easy to travel. The terrain is slightly hilly. After passing Geavvogealttu hikers come across the first of many climbs, as the trail leads onto the fell tops. The climb is at first steep, but eases to a gentle slope soon after. The trail leads across the fells for several kilometres and then descends to the next camping site. This section of the trail is very rocky, which makes it difficult to hike. In the open fells there is a large boulder by the trail. The descent from the fells is 2 km long. At first the trail slopes downward gently, but at the end of the descent it gets steeper. At the camping site there is a wooden campfire shelter for day-trip use.

The trail starts a steep climb into fell birch forest right after the campfire site. The climb is short, but very steep. About a kilometre from the campfire site the canyon appears abruptly in front of you, like a brand new tear in the rock bed. This is without a doubt the most beautiful sight along the trail. From there the trail continues along the edge of the canyon and then moves a bit away from it into the fell birches and descends to the next campfire site, situated by a stream. This descent is very steep before reaching the stream has steps.

After the stream there is again a steep climb -this time along steps. After the ascent the trail leads alternately across open fells and through fell birch forests. Along this portion of the trail there are a few steep descents down sets of steps to stream banks which are followed by climbs up the opposite slope. At the end of this section the trail descends into Kevo Canyon coming to Fiellu Waterfall. This descent is long; it starts out as a gentle downward slope, but is extremely steep at the end. There are steps for the final part of the descent. After the steps hikers cross the River Fiellogeahjohka at a wading point which has a wire to hold on to. This section of the trail is at points rocky and there are points with loose rubble and earth. This makes the section difficult to travel. At the camping site there is a turf hut for day-trip use.

After passing Fiellu Waterfall there is again a steep climb out of the canyon along a set of steps. At the start the ascent is steep, but the trail quickly reaches the open fells where the slope becomes gentler. Altogether the climb is about 3 km long. After the ascent the trail leads along the open fells at times through fell mires. In the open fells the trail is rocky but level. The fell mires are less rocky and therefore easier to travel across. At the end of this section the trail yet again descends through pine forest into the canyon. The descent is at first a gentle slope, but soon becomes steeper. The lowest section of the descent is again the steepest and has steps to assist hikers. 17dc91bb1f
