My interest in communication stems from enjoyment of personal connections with my peers. I have always been a social person, beginning in my elementary school years where I would commonly get in trouble for talking too much.
I greatly value having a work-life balance that allows me to pursue my hobbies of golf, fishing, hunting, and watching sports. I grew up in a huge baseball family but have since found a liking to football as well. Watching these games with friends and family is one of my favorite activities outside of work.
These hobbies I enjoy so much have also lead me to a passion of research. I like to deep dive into random statistics and problems within these fields and learn about ways to solve them. Critical thinking and conducting research are two of the main topics S&T excels at teaching students, and I am very grateful for these skills the university has given me. I will use them professionally and for pleasure as I research and problem solve my way through the rest of my life.
